Quote Of The Week
It's another year of virtual learning for us here at AISC. We are fully aware that social connections and virtual community activities are needed to support our well-being in this time of uncertainty. If you are interested in supporting us in this fill out this Google Form to apply to lead a course within the Wellness Academy for the fall semester - (stipend included).
We hope to hear from you and would love any support you can provide as we strive to support our staff and faculty's well-being in these times of uncertainty.
We will begin the Wellness Academy in September and it will run until Christmas Break. Dates are yet to be finalized. These classes can be offered before the school day begins or after school hours.
*If you have any questions about these processes, you can email me at vpriya@aischennai.org
Click Here to see what our local community entrepreneurs have in store for you. This is a space where I will be posting what local entrepreneurs in town have to offer and websites for you to order from. If you have any more suggestions to add please email me. I will add them on.
Here is a list of take-away menus made by home cooks and restaurants that are now open and are practicing all the safety guidelines for you to go and enjoy a meal in peace. I would encourage you to have a look and give the local talent a chance to serve you.
Movie / TV Series
This fine British drama excavates a whole lot of buried treasure with a distinguished cast in Carey Mulligan, Ralph Fiennes, Lily James and Johnny Flynn. It's based on the true events around the 1939 excavation of Sutton Hoo, yielding a priceless trove of Anglo-Saxon artefacts hidden in a burial ship. Romantic, intellectual and moving, The Dig is a full sweep of elegance.
