This fine British drama excavates a whole lot of buried treasure with a distinguished cast in Carey Mulligan, Ralph Fiennes, Lily James and Johnny Flynn. It's based on the true events around the 1939 excavation of Sutton Hoo, yielding a priceless trove of Anglo-Saxon artefacts hidden in a burial ship. Romantic, intellectual and moving, The Dig is a full sweep of elegance.

Restaurant of the Week
Soy Soi - Kotturpuram
Soy Soi serves a dynamic range of Pan Asian cuisines. It covers the entire southeast Asian belt, encompassing the likes of Burmese, Thai, Vietnamese, Indonesian, Singaporean, Japanese, and Malaysian cuisines through its vast menu. The factual parts of the menu stating few unknown insights about Pan Asian cuisine make for a good read. They even guide you about sushi, defining it, how to eat it, etc., something not many Pan Asian restaurants do.
The dishes you find on Soy Soi’s menu are hard to find anywhere else in Chennai. They handpick the classics and prepare them in the most authentic way. The Asian influence exudes to the restaurant’s final dessert course too. Soy Soi has to be one of the most arresting dining rooms in Chennai. Through black painted walls, eye-catching Asian murals, red furnishings and ambient lighting, Soy Soi creates a dynamic, dazzling space. Snag one of their booths.

All of us or at least most of us have fond memories of our grandparents. My older son Ashwin leaves for University in 2 weeks. Those who know me personally are aware that my parents are not just grandparents to my sons but are also co-parents. It's an emotional roller coaster ride at my home as we help him pack and leave. It's bitter-sweet. I came across this video recently and thought I should share it with all of you. To those who are blessed to still have their grandparents around do take some time out this weekend to check on them. To those who are grandparents, I wish you lots of happiness and joyous moments with your grandchildren.

"BRAVE SPACE" Hosted by Jason Kennedy
A space where:
We can share real stories of trauma, grief, and loss
We listen to others stories without judgment or trying to fix them
By listening to each other stories we share empathy, understanding, and let others know that they are not alone in this grief.

Need a dramedy to watch? There are some great shows and movies on Netflix to watch, and the latest coming is The Chair. Sandra Oh stars as Dr. Ji-Yoon Kim as the first woman of color as the chair of her department at a major university. The series follows the highs and lows of her time in the role.
There are demanding expectations. And of course, more is expected of her considering her gender and her ethnicity. Will she rise above it all? That’s what we get to find out.
It's our second week of school and I just thought I'd take this opportunity to let you all know that you are rockstars! In reality, teachers have the most important job in the world. Those who have an impact on the children of society have the power to change lives. Not just for those children themselves, but for the lives of all. I came across this video and wanted to share it with you all. I hope it brings tears and a smile to your face.
