It's our second week of school and I just thought I'd take this opportunity to let you all know that you are rockstars! In reality, teachers have the most important job in the world. Those who have an impact on the children of society have the power to change lives. Not just for those children themselves, but for the lives of all. Modern Love explores love in all of its complex and beautiful forms, as well as its effects on the human connection. Just like with the first season, each episode brings to life a different story that has been inspired by The New York Times‘s popular “Modern Love” column. This time around, however, the show is bringing you a brand new all-star cast that includes Kit Harrington, Lucy Boynton, Minnie Driver, Lulu Wilson, Dominique Fishback, Sophie Okonedo, and more. This is a lovely follow-up to the show’s successful first season so be sure to check out Modern Love: Season 2 as soon as it drops.

Lynne Ramsay's masterful take on a story about a hitman who's hired to rescue a politician's daughter from a human trafficking network, is stark, brutal and mercifully straight to the point, running at a taut 90 minutes. With Phoenix doing his brilliant committed actor thing, You Were Never Really Here is more than your average thriller.

Weekly Wellbeing Blog July 29th, Wednesday , 2021

 

Welcome back, everyone. I hope this blog finds you all safe and sound. The spread of the virus has shown us how the world is interdependent and we all impact one another.  As we embark on another year let me remind you all that we all have a responsibility to exercise compassion and help towards each other.

I am excited this year as I continue to be your wellbeing coordinator. I absolutely love my job and I want to make this year beautiful for all of you. I had a lot of plans last year too and we all know what happened. Never the less with most of us being vaccinated this year and places slowly opening up I am hoping I can execute some of those ideas. I want to share my love for Chennai with all of you. I hope to organize field trips for us in and around Chennai where you all can get to experience Chennai in all its glory.
